x|||You%26#039;re talking about a clothes dryer, right? If you%26#039;ve unplugged the electrical supply and moved the dryer away from the wall and taken the back plate off, you should be able to see an electric motor with a pulley wheel on the end of its turning shaft and a larger pulley wheel on the shaft supporting the dryer basket of the machine. There should be enough slack in the new belt so that you can feed it First onto the larger pulley on the shaft of the dryer basket and then onto the pulley of the electric motor -- feeding from the bottom side and rotating the shaft of the motor -- BY HAND in the direction to cause the belt to ride over the outer ring of the pulley until it %26#039;pops%26#039; into the groove of the pulley. Be careful to keep fingers OUT FROM BETWEEN THE BELT AND THE PULLEY. That should do you as for replacing the drive belt. Next, you have to put everything back together. DON%26#039;T FORGET to connect the air discharge hose back up securely as you slide the dryer back into place against the wall. %26lt;G%26gt;
